General appreciation of the building industry - organization and function.
General of modern building construction.
Functions of buildings and building elements. Knowledge of drawing and measurements are required.
Properties and users of basic building materials commonly used and appropriate finishes and fittings.
(The syllabus appears to be brief, hence much of the requirement could only be certain when you see the past year questions)
